Privacy Policy

Last updated: March 8, 2026

Daily Driver is built with privacy as a core principle. Your data belongs to you, and we've designed the app to keep it that way.

What data we collect

We don't collect any personal data. Daily Driver does not have a server, does not require an account, and does not track you in any way.

Where your data is stored

All your data (tasks, notes, projects, focus sessions, and journal entries) is stored in two places:

Calendar access

Daily Driver can access your calendar (with your permission) to display today's events alongside your tasks. Calendar data is read locally on your device and is never sent anywhere.

Microphone & speech recognition

Daily Driver offers voice note capture (with your permission). Audio is processed on-device using Apple's Speech framework. Voice recordings and transcriptions are stored locally and in your private iCloud container. They are never sent to our servers (we don't have any).

Analytics & tracking

Daily Driver does not include any analytics SDKs, tracking pixels, or third-party services. We don't use Google Analytics, Firebase, or any similar tools. We have no way to see how you use the app.

Third-party services

The only third-party service used is Apple's CloudKit for iCloud sync, which is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.

Notifications

Daily Driver can send you local notifications for task reminders and planning nudges. These are scheduled entirely on your device and do not go through any external service.

Children's privacy

Daily Driver does not knowingly collect any information from children under the age of 13.

Changes to this policy

If we ever change this privacy policy, we'll update this page and the "Last updated" date above.
